Adelheim Gumidong, a gated community, is planned to maximize the single housing’s benefits by solving the difficult issues that burden to individual residents such as security, maintenance, and resident amenities. Since the site is located at the skirt of Bulgok Mountain on steep slope, 6 artificial ground levels were built entire site and two units share each level. Public outdoor space and main separate housing placed on upper level, and the multi-purpose room with natural light and air ventilation and parking lot are on lower level. These placements result the three dimensional continued sequence of openings, staircases and landscape.
